Geschichten vom Leben an der slowakisch-österreichischen Grenze

Das Staatsarchiv in Bratislva und des Projekt „Gedächtnis ohne Grenzen“ laden zu einer historischen Reise durch die Slowakisch-Österreichische Grenzregion ein!

Begeben sie sich auf eine Spurensuche durch die gemeinsamen historischen Lebenswelten am Zusammenlauf der beiden Flüsse March und Donau. Beleuchtet werden weit in die Geschichte zurückreichende gemeinsamen Wurzeln und Interkationen zwischen der Slowakei und Österreich von den ersten Besiedelungsspuren bis in das 20. Jahrhundert.

Tagungsinhalte:

→ Slowakisch-österreichische Beziehungen in Archivalien

→ Spezifische Aspekte des politischen, wirtschaftlichen, militärischen, kulturellen und sozialen Lebens in der Grenzregion

→ Die Interaktionen der  geopolitischen Räume Niederösterreich – westliche Slowakei

→ March und Donau als verbindende und trennende Elemente

→ In Österreich tätige slowakische Persönlichkeiten aus Politik, Wirtschaft und Kultur (und vice versa)

→ Slowakisch-österreichische Gesellschaften, Publikationen und Ausbildungen
